💗The Story Behind Pupto-Bismol

Like a lot of great ideas, Pupto-Bismol started in the backyard — with a very good puppy named Peggy (inspired by Hamilton because she was abandoned as a puppy in the Everglades), and 8 months later, a little bit of grass-eating drama.

One sunny Florida afternoon, Peggy wasn’t feeling great. She did what dogs do when their tummies act up — munched on grass, threw up a little, and looked at us with those “help me” eyes. That’s when it clicked: why wasn’t there a natural, safe, gentle treat to help calm a dog’s stomach the same way people have their remedies?

So I got to work. Using simple ingredients — real pumpkin, xylitol-free peanut butter, ginger, chamomile, and gluten-free flour — I baked up the first batch of what would become Pupto-Bismol Digestion Relief Treats.

Our goal was simple:

Create a treat that dogs love and owners can trust.

We (My Wife and I) tested, refined, and taste-approved (thanks to our two loyal product testers — one small tan pup and one big black best friend 🐕🐕‍🦺). The result? A crunchy, calming snack that helps ease digestion and supports happy, healthy bellies — naturally.

Today, Pupto-Bismol is proudly handmade in Fort Myers, Florida. Every batch is baked with care, using the same ingredients we’d feed our own dogs. Because for us, it’s not just about treats — it’s about trust, health, and a whole lot of tail wags.
